I'm doing that time consuming LDoA thing, and I opted for Necro.

So, using Pre-Skills, I was wondering if anyone has tried a Soul Barbs build. I'm currently only lvl 8, so I can't really see how it works TOO well, but from what I've tried, this actually works sort of well!

So has anyone else done anything along these lines? Maybe it can be bumped up or fiddled with to improve effectiveness.

Essentially, I just put as much as I can into Curses, and the rest into Soul Reaping and Blood. Start with Soul Barbs, then just tack on the Necro hexes (Life Siphon, Faintheartedness) and the Mesmer hexes (Imagined Burden, Conjure Phantasm) and throw in Vampiric Gaze or Ether Feast if I need to heal quickly, while running away... Hit and run tactics. Yay. The imp handles distraction.

To be honest if your going for LDoA in pre N/E would be the way to go... MM and firestorm rape charr

. Thats what one of my LDoA's was, as for soul barbs, I've tried it in pre and its ok at low lvl I would juts remake the character.

Yea, it's sort of upsetting. I know skill choice is limited, but I'm just on the fence about doing what everyone does, but I guess that what works. Soul Barbs really isn't too effective compared to what else I've tried.

Also, I didn't take /Me. Just using Mesmer skills.
